Who is Australian Skills Quality Authority ? (ASQA)
Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector. ASQA’s primary role is to ensure that registered training organisations (RTOs) deliver quality training and assessment services that meet the national standards.
It does this by:
- Registering training providers and accrediting courses;
- Monitoring and auditing RTOs to ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025;
- Investigating complaints and taking regulatory action when necessary;
- Promoting continuous improvement and providing guidance to providers to support quality training outcomes.
ASQA’s work helps to maintain the integrity and reputation of Australia’s VET system, ensuring that students, employers, and the broader community can have confidence in the qualifications delivered.

AWS CE is registered to offer qualifications:
- MEM 10119 Certificate I in Engineering
- MEM 20219 Certificate II in Engineering – Production Technology
- MEM 31922 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
- MEM 40119 Certificate IV in Engineering
As an RTO, AWS CE is approved to deliver training, conduct assessments, and issue qualifications in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025.
