Weld.Education is the official Australian Welding Solutions (AWS ) training portal, delivering globally recognised training and certification pathways for professionals in welding, inspection, and engineering.
AWS was founded in 2006 by Neville Cornish—an internationally chartered welding engineer— to bridge the gap between practical skills, technical compliance, and industry certification.
Weld.education operates as a training portal for Australian Welding Solutions Centre of Excellence (AWS CE) the training arm of AWS which is an accredited provider of world-class training services for Industry.
AWS CE is an RTO
Having delivered Industry Recognised Training (IRT) for 18-years, AWS CE is now an RTO – A Registered Training Organisation – RTO Code 46412.
This means we are uniquely positioned in the technical education space to deliver cross-skilling ranging from Accredited Training in Engineering Cert-1, Cert-2, Cert-3 & Cert-4 through to our tailored IRT Training.

Accredited vs Industry Recognised Training
We deliver training to support two forms of accreditation, and its important that the prospective student understand which of these streams suits their career objectives.
Accredited Courses
These courses lead to Certificate Level qualifications for successful students.
Through AWS CE’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status we can deliver training, assess and certify students for Cert I, Cert II, Cert III and Cert IV qualifications.
These courses are trusted by employers and recognised across Australia.
The courses from AWS CE are within the Manufacturing and Engineering (MEM) qualification category, and approved by the Industry and Australian Skills Quality Authority.
